Stephenson Tree Care, Inc is a locally established, full service professional tree pruning, removal, and care company. Stephenson specializes in low-impact pruning and removal techniques which protect your landscaping and adjacent plantings. Stephenson’s priorities include protection of customer property along with proper pruning techniques best for the health of your trees and shrubs. Consulting — A brief consultation in regards to a specific disease, pruning or tree related problem. A type written report is included.
? Pre-construction, construction and post construction protection plans for trees and shrubs impacted by new home construction or additions. Planning and protection greatly increase tree and shrub survivability.
? Plant Appraisals — We can establish the value of individual trees and shrubs on your property for insurance purposes and property value considerations. Values of trees and shrubs damaged by fire, automobiles, fire, lightening, vandalism, and wind can also be calculated.
Insect and Disease Diagnosis — includes treatments for diseases such as Oak Wilt, Dutch Elm Disease, Gypsy Moth, Birch Leaf Miner, Bronze Birch Borer, Two-Lined Chestnut Borer, Spruce Aphid Gall, Oak Chlorosis, Conifer Needle Cast. Stephenson can set-up an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program for your property with scheduled visits during the growing season.
Fertilization — done on an as needed basis if the tree or shrub is showing signs of stress or decline. If needed soil and plant tissue samples are taken and analyzed by the U.W. Madison labs and fertilization protocols are then established and administered for that particular plant.
Pruning and Removal — Full service corrective pruning, including deadwood removal, thinning, cleaning, and pruning training for trees of all age classes is offered. Research shows that properly pruned trees and shrubs are healthier and live longer. This is always accomplished using rope and saddle with an emphasis on safety and property protection. Bucket truck service is available and used when possible. Occasionally, trees need to be removed. Stephenson’s trained & experienced staff has the skill and tools needed to safely remove any tree with no impact or damage to surrounding property. Insurance work and storm damage clean-up is also offered. Stump grinding is available when needed.
Log Salvage and Lumber Milling — Stephenson Tree Care makes every effort to recycle the branches and logs turned into chips during operations.
