The Home Improvement That Rocks: Or... Uses Them, At Least

Nature Stone is designed to bond with existing concrete, extending the life of the concrete within the areas in which it is used.  Wet areas are a perfect application for Nature Stone.  Top photo — Before application, Bottom photo — After application

“Old concrete can look better than ever and last longer than you thought possible with Nature Stone.”  Alicia Szekeres of Nature Stone of Wisconsin in Mount Horeb

Most new products are variations of existing products, so people know how to use or apply them. The Nature Stone product, which is new in Wisconsin, is one of those new products that have applications people have not had the chance to consider, at least until now. Nature Stone is a unique mix of smaller stones and an epoxy resin which is hand troweled over existing concrete.  When cured, it’s twice the strength of concrete.  After it is applied, a UV coating is added to provide added protection against direct sunlight.

Nature Stone is the epitome of a home improvement product in that it is not a building material, but it improves what you already have in place. It is designed to bond to concrete to visually enhance and strengthen the existing concrete structure. Once the stone is added, it protects the concrete against additional pitting and cracking.

Anywhere you have concrete meeting the elements; Nature Stone can create a new reality.  It makes what you have more functional, better looking and if you were looking to have an area completely redone, can save you money as well.

One neat feature is that an antibacterial and antifungal compound is added to the epoxy.  This limits mold, mildew and dust mites. So, when people with homes having periodic water leaks in their basements use this product, they have a great looking product when it’s not wet, but when there is water, it will wick through and drain or dry as usual and resist the molds and mildew which produces musty smells.

The end result is that it’s tough enough to withstand heavy use, standing water and direct sunlight. But the best part is that it requires virtually NO Maintenance.  This is a real home improvement… adding  something to your home that looks great and doesn’t need constant upkeep.

Enhancing the look and integrity of concrete, Nature Stone helps concrete withstand the elements:
? Patios
? Courtyards
? Driveways
? Garage Floors
? Basements (older homes with water issues)
? Stoops
? Pathways
? Dock Areas
