Coupled with our attention to your needs (& perhaps even a few wants) we will develop a plan that will not only resolve the issues that bring us together but will provide us the opportunity to then bring in our highly experienced production team to efficiently “build on that promise.”

National First Place Winner - Qualified Remodeler 20th Annual Design Award

For this project Associated Housewrights, designed a U-shaped one and one-half story addition that created an efficient, friendly kitchen and sitting room. Natural light and a vaulted hip ceiling gave the room more space and an open feeling.

Associated Housewrights also met the challenge of harmonizing the exterior design with the existing architecture. Rooflines were matched, along with custom gutters and windows to maintain architectural integrity.

2006 Winner of the NARI Contractor of the Year award for Historic Renovation /Restoration:

This addition included a bedroom expansion capped with a turret. Below it is a period-detailed screen porch for meals, friends, and reading.

Our house is beautiful, thanks to everyone at AHW. The garage is amazing; the driveway is smooth - and larger, the front porch is such an improvement over the old one; the larger opening between the foyer and the hall is perfect; the windows look great, especially the ones in the office; and the woodwork is beautiful and finally matches the rest of the house! The attention to detail that you provide is why we came back to AHW for this project. Once again, you did not disappoint. We truly appreciate all the effort and hours you spent, especially on so call \'easy\' things (e.g. bifold mirrored closet doors), but also on what we would consider the more challenging things (e.g. installing the beam in the garage).
